Ticketing Manager Job Duties

  • Co-manages ticketing operations for ATGuild contracted events at ATGuild partner venues, including box office operations, planning, and implementation of ticket sales processes, with the Director of Ticketing.
  • Co-manages assigned event ticketing information from start to finish in respect of a timeline needed for success and priority. Including but not limited to the build of events, ticket types, and box office documents through multiple ticketing systems.
  • Helps maintaining and reporting on box office statements, sales reports, including opens, wraps (daily ticket counts), group sales commissions, Broadway League reports, and other forms as requested or needed.
  • Helps ensure Box Office Statement and T1 tabs on presentation templates are accurate and ready for use before shows open when assigned.
  • Assists Assistant Ticketing Director with comp request needs for select box offices/events and ensure a list of complimentary tickets by performance and location is maintained; ready and accessible by the engagement in select markets.
  • Works with the Director of Ticketing to maintain and nurture proper relations with select venues, vendors, and partner contacts.
  • Assist with various tasks and policy in regard to venue box office and/or ticket sales agencies. Update information on ticket policies, prepare, maintain and distribute form T1s as assigned. Maintain box office and ticketing links to box office and/or ticketing systems for ATGuild website liaison; keep data up to date, make additions and deletions as needed.
  • Assists with Accessible, Hearing and Visually Impaired seating requests, working with the venue and Patron Service team to seat and assist patrons with accessible requests and accommodations.
  • Assists with creation and proofing of ticketing details contained in marketing materials including ticket prices, show times, dates, venues, etc.
  • Communicate with several departments to create exceptional customer service and market our shows. Truly an all around team player.
  • General sales staff duties as needed in team support. Including data entry, ticket order taking, answering customer calls during overload periods.
  • Other related duties as assigned to help ATGuild.

Ticketing Manager Requirements:     

  • Must be able to work remotely full time and be located in the KC metro area 
  •  
  • No less than 2 years experience in ticketing large scale events
  • Must have knowledge and experience with ticketing system (ie Archtics, Ticketmaster, TM1 and Host preferred)
  • Meet goals and objectives while adhering to the policies as stated in our employee handbook
  • Ability to multi-task and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with digital ticketing preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to be proactive and innovative
  • Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally with departments
  • Ability to work daytime hours in addition to nights, weekends, and occasional holidays, as needed, for events

Skills and Requirements:

  • Excellent writing, grammar, and communication skills
  • High level of accuracy, meeting strict deadlines, and working with others in a group or team
  • Ability to think creatively and problem solve
  • Ability to learn computer software to operate phone calls and proficiently perform duties in a remote (or office) work environment

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard for up to 8 hours a day.
  • The employee is often required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, crawl, kneel, or crouch.
  • This position requires working indoors with controllable environmental condition and temperature.
  • This position requires the employee to talk and hear. Requires face-to-face discussions with individuals and teams, opportunity to make decisions without supervision, mistakes are not easily correctable and have serious consequences that impact the results of co-workers, customers or the company.

Staff Accountant

Summary:
Assist the finance department with the general accounting functions. This includes completing
timely and accurate daily, monthly, and yearly tasks, projects, and reports. The Accounting
Associate will also serve as a backup for Accounts Payable.

Job Duties:
● Prepare, enter, and review journal entries.
● Reconcile various ledger accounts on a monthly basis
● Generate general ledger reports and account distribution reports to support marketing and
other departments
● Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
● Prepare account analysis as needed
● Assist in the preparation of Monthly financial reports
● Enter bills and process vendor payments as needed
● Assist in completing schedules and obtaining requisite data for the annual audit
● Follow accrual basis / GAAP accounting
● Other Finance department support duties as assigned by the Controller

Staff Accountant Requirements:
● 2+ years of accounting related experience
● Experience working with accounting software
● Capable of working under light supervision
● Able to multitask on various tasks or projects and meet strict deadlines
● Able to operate in a fast-paced dynamic environment
● Proficiency operating a computer. Able to learn computer software to operate phone calls
and proficiently perform duties in a remote (or office) work environment. Proficient
keyboarding skills.

● Keen attention to accuracy and detail
● Good verbal and written communication skills

Accounting Intern Job Duties

Summary
Students working through the school year will work up to 24 hours per week. Students will be able
to focus on coursework with a flexible schedule while gaining real work experience during their
internship. This position will assist the Finance department with basic accounting functions.

Job Duties:
● Data entry, filing and record keeping
● Assisting with journal entries and reconciliations
● Monitor discrepancies in payments and accounting records; investigate variances
● Work with vendors / assist in vendor management
● Prepare invoices
● Prepare financial analysis and / or reports as needed
● Assist Finance team with various accounting tasks

Accounting Intern Requirements:
● Active enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program, pursuing majors in Accounting or
Finance.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel. Experience with
accounting software is recommended.
● Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
● The ability to be discreet when handling sensitive financial information
● Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and have a willingness to learn
● Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
