The American Theatre Guild, a Kansas City-based non-profit theatrical presenter, is looking for part-time Patron Services Representatives to support our season patrons in our 15 markets across the country. The American Theatre Guild is dedicated to providing the experience of live theatre to foster passion, inspire creativity and empower youth within our communities.

Patron Service Representative Responsibilities include:
- Assisting patrons with ticketing needs (exchanging tickets, purchasing additional tickets, etc.)
- Printing and mailing tickets to patrons on a timely basis
- Managing incoming and outgoing-campaign calls
- Inputting data into databases as directed
- Assisting in the recording of ticket sales, revenue and income data, and sales reports

Patron Service Representative Requirements:
- A desire to provide excellent customer service to our patrons
- Experience with Microsoft Office, G Suite, and general computer skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexibility in an often-changing work environment
- Familiarity with professional theatre terms and practices preferred

This is a part-time position, not exceeding 29 hours a week. Our scheduling is very flexible to your needs and we are able to accommodate most conflicts with advance notice. This is a great position for someone looking for reliable, flexible work they can return to between contracts or in tandem with a second job.

Accounting Intern Job Duties

Assist with the following:
Data entry, filing and record keeping
Assisting with journal entries and reconciliations
Monitor discrepancies in payments and accounting records; investigate variances
Work with vendors - / assist in vendor management
Preparing invoices
Prepare reports as needed
Assist Finance team with various accounting tasks


Accounting Intern Requirements:
Active enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
Interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
The ability to be discreet when handling sensitive financial information
A willingness to learn
Detail-oriented
Analytical skills

Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll and handle all payroll responsibilities and record
keeping.
Responsible for the accurate posting of daily deposits
Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers,
reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
Receives, reconciles, and verifies expense reports
Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and
transactions.
Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices.
Create invoices for customers
Maintain customer and vendor files


Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred.
Minimum two years of accounts payable and payroll experience
Experience with multi-state payroll is preferred.
Ability to multi-task and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional organizational and attention to detail skills
Must be able to manage, organize and coordinate multiple activities and shift priorities
under aggressive deadlines, even in ambiguous situations and the ability to recommend and
take action with confidence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desire to be proactive and innovative
Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally with departments
